Israeli Operations Leave Palestinians Wounded in Gaza, Home Demolished in West Bank
Medical sources said a woman sustained critical injuries after Israeli gunfire struck the Atatra area west of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. She was transferred to Shifa Hospital in Gaza City for treatment.
In a separate incident, two civilians suffered moderate injuries when an Israeli drone detonated near a group of people on Kashko Street in Gaza City's Zeitoun neighborhood. The injured were taken to Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital, according to medical officials.
Reports from local sources indicated that Israeli artillery targeted locations east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Meanwhile, naval forces reportedly shelled areas along the city's western shoreline and opened fire from offshore positions.
Elsewhere in central Gaza, Israeli military vehicles fired machine guns toward areas east of the Maghazi refugee camp. No casualties were reported in that incident.
According to figures released by Gaza health authorities, at least 981 Palestinians have been killed and 3,104 others injured by Israeli military fire despite a ceasefire that has been in effect since Oct. 10, 2025.
Health officials also reported that since the outbreak of the war in October 2023, approximately 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 wounded. The conflict has also caused extensive destruction, with around 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure reportedly damaged or destroyed.
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces carried out the demolition of a Palestinian residence that was still under construction in the town of Kafr ad-Dik, located west of Salfit.
According to local accounts, Israeli troops entered the western section of the town accompanied by a military bulldozer before beginning the demolition operation.
Reports said Israeli authorities justified the action by claiming the structure had been built without the required permit.
Israeli authorities frequently demolish Palestinian homes and other structures in parts of the West Bank designated as Area C, citing permit-related violations as the basis for such actions.
