IDF murders another Palestinian in Gaza

(MENAFN) A Palestinian was killed on Sunday in northern Gaza by Israeli forces, marking another breach of the ceasefire agreement, medical sources reported to Anadolu. The casualty occurred when an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on civilians in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza City.

Witnesses noted that the attack took place in areas from which Israeli forces had previously withdrawn, with no reported violations in army-controlled “yellow zone” areas. Local sources also reported heavy fire from Israeli helicopters across eastern parts of Gaza City since early Sunday.

Israeli military vehicles stationed in army-controlled zones reportedly fired toward the northeastern Bureij refugee camp, eastern Khan Younis, and northern Rafah.

According to the Gaza Government Media Office, the Israeli army has carried out 738 ceasefire violations since the agreement took effect on October 10. At least 401 Palestinians have been killed and 1,108 injured by Israeli forces during this period, bringing the total number of casualties from the ongoing war to over 70,900 dead and nearly 171,200 wounded.
